Dario Rodriguez

Mr. Dario Rodriguez started in SKF more than 30 years ago as an application and service engineer where he spent more than 23 years in Argentina and later moved to Sweden working for 4.5 years as part of the global team supporting SKF in the metal industry. Since January 2013, he is working in the SKF regional office for Asia Pacific located in Singapore and currently serves as the Regional Application Engineering and Metal Segment Manager. During this long period, Dario has been working across many industrial segments, with special focus on heavy industries like metals, mining and cement, pulp & paper etc., helping customers to find the root cause of bearing related problems and the correct solutions, involving from application design and bearing selection, to lubrication, mounting and dismounting and sealing arrangement etc. He has done many service jobs at customers, including condition monitoring and vibration analysis, alignment and inspection and also conducted a large number of training sessions for customers on all aspects related to bearings, such as selection and calculation, vibration analysis, mounting, and lubrication.

Bearing internal clearance is defined as the total distance through which one bearing ring can be moved relative to the other in the radial direction (radial internal clearance) or in the axial direction (axial internal clearance).
