As part of this value-added focus, [SLS](http://www.slsbearings.com.sg/) and its key partner [SKF](http://www.skf.com/sg/index.html) held a joint Predictive Maintenance Workshop on Electric Motors on 30th April 2015.

The Workshop aimed to create the awareness in the Predictive maintenance of Electric Motors through Remote Monitoring, Static Motor Analysis and Dynamic Monitoring of Motors by Theory, Presentations, Practical Demonstrations and  Q&A.

The workshop was specially tailored for maintenance personnel, engineers and planners. Through this workshop, participants learned how to take preemptive steps to prevent sudden failures and unplanned maintenance activities.

The event was a great success.

Of 60+ participants confirmed, 50+ turned out on the actual day. Participants came from a variety of industries, such as the semiconductor industry, food & beverage, maintenance, electrical and automotive. The workshop focused on Baker Instruments.

Baker Instrument Company is the industry leader in electrical motor test equipment for condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, motor manufacturing and repair applications.

The actual hands-on experience , spread over 4 stations,  was the highlight of the day and kept participants engaged. Through these live demonstrations, each participant could see the actual working of the setup and the results.
